Rescue has a hefty price tag, while Free is LogMeIn Rescue is a great product. Some noted advantages over LMI free is that you will not have to perform any setup before help is needed granted, setup of LMI Free is pretty simple.
Rescue also allows for quick access to running processes, eventvwr and a few other system tools that are regularly used in troubleshooting. While all of these tools can be accessed normally from LMI Free, Rescue let's you look at them while the user is working on the machine.
I've found this to be helpful in a few instances. While I prefer Rescue over Free, I find that the cost of Rescue limits it's use to very dynamic environments. I would recommend working with your free trial until it runs out, being sure to explore it's features.
