This is one long, flat boardwalk and it is not a loop. You can walk to the end and then walk all the way back, or enter at any of the multiple entry points and decide your own path.

You can also sit on the beach and relax. Check out the pier- lots of benches and you get a cool backdrop of the amusement rides and the ocean for pics. Advice from a local, do not wander too far past the amusement rides at night in the summer and if you do, please exercise caution.

Nice all boardwalk walk. Went mid week during Covid and it was not crowded at all. Good day. Dead flat "trail" on the boardwalk. Multiple entry points and, in summer, thousands upon thousands of people around. Make sure to check out the Cyclone rollercoaster, original Nathan's hotdog, and all the awesome Russian restuarants at Brighton Beach.

By trail, I mean boardwalk. Take the subway out to Coney Island and walk the boardwalk as a loop. Start at any of the entry points and go down and around to the other end until you return to where you began. I guarantee you'll see more than you might have imagined. Likely you also decided to have a Nathan's hotdog or take a dip in the ocean! Why not right? The oceanfront Russian restaurants offer an amazing lunch special everyday in the summer that includes options like Borscht.

We love the workout and change of pace from the forest trails. Use Navigator in the AllTrails app and join the other outdoor explorers who have completed this trail.
